Learn how to develop a practice that suits your needs

Although these classes are designed to suit a diverse range of women, the classes will also allow you to develop a Qigong practice that suits your own needs. Qigong can serve as preventive medicine, help heal some ailments, maintain a supple body, distress, recharge, balance emotions, improve posture and walking, cultivate awareness and a clear mind. It’s also helps reconnecting with oneself and harmonise with the seasons.

But these sessions will focus on different health issues that women might experience over time, especially during periods of hormonal changes, such as menstrual and menopausal imbalances, bone density loss, weight gain, brain fog, or facial ageing signs.

Qigong is about achieving overall balance by harmonising the yin and yang, which is key to human health in Eastern medicine. Not too much of one thing, not too little. Just the right balance to makes our body and mind work well.

It can be practiced standing, sitting, or even lying down. Qigong incorporates meditation, synchronised movements with breath, stretches, healing sounds, self-massage, work on the meridians and acupressure points in the body, and mudras.

It’s suitable for any woman interested in learning a gentle but powerful practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Eastern philosophies such a Daoism and Buddhism.
