This relaxing yoga & mindfulness mini retreat will include yoga, mindfulness and somatics practices to help you to be more at ease in your body and mind, releasing tension and stiffness.

You might not have come across somatics before. ‘Soma’ simply means the living body – the whole shebang. In the somatics-based sequences we take the awareness inside and use the brain to take charge of the body. We’re rewiring the brain to rebalance and release in the body. With simple, small movements we connect the brain back up with muscles that have forgotten how to fully relax and begin to repattern for a greater sense of ease and comfort.

Sounds complicated? All you need to know is that you’ll have a fun and nourishing afternoon that will free up and relax your body, calm your mind and you’ll take home some new skills for taking care of yourself.

All equipment is supplied, so you don’t need to bring anything, unless you prefer to have your own kit with you. Wear something that you can be comfortable to move around in and layers to add for the stiller, meditation sections.

No experience of meditation or yoga is necessary. Beginners and rusty returners are very welcome.
