Bridget is a mindfulness and yoga teacher.
She has been practising yoga for more than twenty years, the last 19 of them with the Yoga Rooms’ Sarah Hague, and more recently with Christine Howitt and Karen Hadgett. She has completed Creative Calm’s 300 hour trauma sensitive yoga teacher training course which is accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals & IYN.
Bridget found mindfulness and meditation during a period of anxiety and depression ten years ago. Transformed and supported by its gentle wisdom, she trained to teach. She is a Breathworks accredited mindfulness teacher and has been teaching and sharing mindfulness for around six years.
She is delighted to bring her new Mindful Yoga to The Yoga Rooms. These down-to-earth classes will bring together yoga and mindfulness – bridging movement and stillness; mind and body; breath and presence; rest and energy.
Out of the studio and off the mat Bridget is a graphic designer (in a different studio) and loves running, swimming and walking in nature with the people she loves.
