Portrait of yoga teacher Sally Mizon

Sally Mizon

Sally (she / her) has been practicing yoga since the early 2000s and completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training diploma with Yogacampus in June 2021.

In 2010 Sally became ill with M.E. / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, completely altering the course of her life, including being unable to practice yoga as she had been doing for years. Eventually she found a class called ‘Yoga for Chronic Fatigue’ with the Manchester based teacher, Jane Craggs. With Jane’s guidance, she started on a new path of self-care, compassion, and acceptance for which she is very grateful.

Overtime she was able to resume a regular gentle yoga practice and started to attend a wider range of classes, workshops and retreats, including with another Manchester based teacher, Lou Tanner.

During this time Jane and Lou introduced Sally to an accessible and adaptable form of yoga called Svastha Yoga, which she has been practicing ever since. Sally is currently studying the 300 hour Svastha Yoga Therapy training, and has completed several courses with the Accessible Yoga School.

Sally is committed to offering accessible and equitable yoga for every body. She welcomes students from all walks of life and hopes to encourage participation from those often underrepresented in yoga and wellbeing spaces. Please let Sally know if there is anything she can do to support you in accessing her classes.
