Claire Connolly

Claire started her Pilates journey as a teacher 4 years ago, after practicing Pilates for many years. She loves the focus Pilates brings to postural alignment and how the combining the six principles when executing the exercises (breath, concentration, control, centering, precision & flow) can support clients to achieve the ideal alignment. Claire strongly believes Pilates brings a mind & body connection like no other exercise, allowing you to be present and fully focus on how you feel when moving through your practice.

After completing Level 3 Mat Pilates qualification, she layered on her Level 3 Pre & Postnatal qualification to support women through their pregnancy journey. In her quest to understand more about the spirituality, she completed the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, allowing her to broaden her knowledge of the mind & body connection through Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga.

Most recently, she completed the STOTT Pilates Intensive Reformer Teacher Training to build upon my Pilates knowledge and understand how equipment such as a reformer can aid clients in achieving postural alignment and recovery from injury. Claire loves everything wellness-related and looks forward to seeing you in class.
