Body rolling is the perfect sister practice to Yoga. Created by Yoga teacher Yamuna Zake the practice uses specially designed inflatable balls on which we roll to stimulate fascia and muscle. This practice feels like a strong self massage!
By placing our body weight on the ball we create traction, movement and release which creates space, realigns and releases tension from muscles and fascia.
Some benefits of Yamuna Body Rolling are:
• Body Rolling works quickly in a very detailed and focused way.
• Excellent if you have specific problems or recurrent body tension.
• Your alignment will improve as well as your ability to breathe more deeply and freely.
• You will gain a deeper understanding of your anatomy and body and how to take care of it.
• You will leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
In this workshop we will use the balls to specifically work around the hamstrings and hips – an area where many of us hold tension that we find hard to release!
You don’t need any equipment or any experience to attend this workshop as I will provide the balls and explain everything!
