Sound & Story "Embracing the wild Twin"

Gather round and lend me your ear. Let me weave some ancient magic through you through story through myth telling. These stories bless us. They have the power to heal us, to free us, break spells and break your heart and mind open. They can plant seeds and call us into remembering, remembering who we are, who we were. These stories are alive and we need to keep fanning their flames and keeping their spark alight. They can enchant us with their poisons or their medicines but hopefully we can break a few spells too.

This month’s story goes by many names but I like to call it “Embracing the Wild Twin” . You may also know it as “Tatterhood”. Did you know that we are all born with a wild twin ? Sometimes we embrace them but often we cast them out back into the wild they came from and oh how they can wreak great havoc on your life ( I have a great story about that in fact I bet you do too). This story however is about what happens when we embrace our wild twin and keep them close. It’s an epic tale of greatness and wildness. Here’s to the wild ones.

We have chairs, mats, bolsters, blankets etc available in the space but please do bring anything you may need to be extra comfortable for the sound bath as you may want to lay down and snuggle in. We will start with the story, take a short comfort break if needed and then move into the sound bath. If you haven’t been to a sound bath before, think of it as a space to rest, digest and process. The gentle sound can encourage an altered state like in meditation or you may even drift off into sleep. We all deserve rest. There will be space at the end to ground ourselves and share anything that may have come up for you or you can simply float off home and dream in story.
