Sarah Henson
Sarah is a sport science lecturer in further education and has always had a very active lifestyle. She turned to yoga to help aid in her recovery after incurring an injury which left her unable to walk. She quickly began to notice the many other benefits of Yoga which transformed her lifestyle.
Sarah completed her first 200 hour Ashtanga Teacher Training Course in India and has since attended numerous workshops with teachers including Kino McGreggor, Claire Missingham and Simon Low. Fascinated with anatomy and movement, she now teaches a form of Vinyasa Flow Yoga which has a yin/yang approach to practice – combining dynamic flowing sequences with restorative postures to balance the body and mind, creating a meditative practice.
With her sports science background she has a strong focus on alignment and encourages students to listen to their body, allowing them to develop a deeper awareness and understanding of themselves.
