Liddy’s practice of Yoga has become the meeting place of duality, the balancing of softness and strength, the knowing that we need both the Yin and the Yang to feel energised, rested and whole. Her teachings mirror her personal experience and practice, offering you the same invitation to explore this concept.

For a decade she has practiced Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Jivamukti Yoga inspired by the beauty of movement, dedicated to a strong and dynamic asana practice to twist, turn and churn the body free of it’s restrictions and emotional tension. she has found, and continue to find, great joy in exploring her body in this way and the effect these Yang practices have on her mind.

Movement is a form of medicine that can provide us with the opportunity to open, to unlock, to shed and to access intimate self-processing states of being. Liddy is fascinated by the body and its capability to do many unusual and inspiring things and loves to share this with the people that she meets.

Always in search of balance, she is humbled by and grateful for the practices of Yin, Restorative Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation & Yoga Nidra. These practices have become a much needed tonic for these times. Life can be extremely busy and pressured, these practices have created a haven for her amidst the chaos.

Through these practices we are able to drop into our internal landscape, surveying all that is and all that we are. Time and space for softness, for slowness, for introspection. These are at the heart of the practice of Yoga. It is through the practice of yielding that deep and transformative healing can take place.
